La metapsíquica (del griego meta más allá de, y psique mente) es el estudio de aquellos fenómenos que superan los límites de la conciencia, y de los cuales todavía no se ha dado una explicación satisfactoria. El universo metapsíquico vendría a ser un cosmos paralelo que a veces se manifiesta de una forma llamada paranormal, sólo accesible en general a médiums, místicos y espiritistas.
Luciano Giusti imagina un universo donde todo se mezcla, lo consciente con lo inconsciente, los sueños con la vigilia, el pasado y el futuro más lejano, el caos y el orden, para representar un “lugar” que está más allá, pero con el cual también de alguna forma convivimos. La abstracción, la geometría y la figuración se entrelazan en sus pinturas para crear paisajes imaginarios de horizontes infinitos, personajes inquietantes, urbes definidas por la línea, astros lejanos, moléculas caóticas y átomos vivaces.
Giusti abre una puerta con sus pinturas, está en el espectador entrar o no, pero el Universo Metapsíquico está ahí, porque siempre lo estuvo, simultáneo y misterioso. A.N.

Metapsychics (from the Greek meta beyond, and psyche mind) is the study of those phenomena that exceed the limits of consciousness, and for which a satisfactory explanation has not yet been given. The metapsychic universe would be a parallel cosmos that sometimes manifests itself in a way called paranormal, only generally accessible to mediums, mystics and spiritualists.
Luciano Giusti imagines a universe where everything mixes, the conscious with the unconscious, dreams with wakefulness, the past and the most distant future, chaos and order, to represent a "place" that is beyond, but with the which we also somehow coexist. Abstraction, geometry, and figuration are intertwined in his paintings to create imaginary landscapes with infinite horizons, disturbing characters, cities defined by lines, distant stars, chaotic molecules and lively atoms.
Giusti opens a door with his paintings, it is up to the viewer to enter or not, but the Metapsychic Universe is there because it always was, simultaneous and mysterious. A.N.
